Going out on a limb here this morning to share something of a complete leap of faith for me.
In what will hopefully NOT be a fleeting New Years resolution, I’ve decided that I would commit to putting myself out there and start sharing my work and experiences as a wedding photographer on YouTube.
This is a big step for me personally, as someone who is terribly camera shy. But from reminiscing on a few personal videos/vlogs I’ve made for myself in the past, I realized how nice it was to be have something to look back on— a documentation of where I was at, what I was doing, how far I’ve come since then.
This creative journey for me has been a truly long one. A constant battle with imposter syndrome, a long road trying to discover my trajectory in life, learning to balance work and passion, and even a recent diagnosis of ADHD, have all brought me to this point today. So I’ve decided that I’d like to start documenting this journey, as well as share the stories I collect and the work that I make along the way, in hopes that others can learn, or be inspired in their own creative journeys.
With that, I present my first YouTube video!! Just a quick little peek at an engagement shoot I did with two of my friends in SF. If you decide to give it a watch, let me know what you think! It’s the beginning of a new road for me, so I will happily take all of the feedback I can get 🙂 Would love to hear what y’all think of the concept, the quality, the thumbnail or title, final photos– anything! And of course, if you could spare a ‘like’ (or even a ‘sub’ if you want to see more), that would be so so helpful in getting this new project off the ground.
